The e-mail to parents and staff remains one of the most popular features of our service. Towards the end of this week, we will be rolling out a few more improvements in this front.
First of all, you will now be able to e-mail not only active but also inactive accounts. This way you can communicate and invite former parents of your school to events and fund raising functions.
Second, our template language that is available in other reports has now been extended to e-mail messages. You can write one generic message that will be personalized for each family to include information about their account.
As an example, you can write and send one generic message using the template language that will result into e-mail messages similar to what you see at the end of the message. Only the parents who have a balance will receive the e-mail and each one of the recipients will receive their personalized greeting and the exact amount they owe. We have updated the Help section with details and examples of how this works.
